I help good brands grow well.

(02) - A note before the credentials

Most marketing advice is loud. Grow faster, post more, be everywhere at once.

After ten years in growth, I believe the brands that last do something different. They figure out what is true about them, say it beautifully, and build systems that repeat it without burning anyone out.

That is the work I do. It looks calm from the outside. That is the point.

(03) - The work

What I can take off your plate.

I only take on work I can personally do well.

Brand & positioning

Who you are, who it's for, and why anyone should care. The foundation everything else stands on, written in language your customers actually use.

Growth marketing

Acquisition, conversion, and the unglamorous testing that turns channels into engines. Fewer bets, better placed, measured honestly.

Go-to-market & launches

New products, new markets, new audiences. Including the leap I know best: bringing brands into the US market, and translating what doesn't carry across the ocean.

Content & lifecycle strategy

Editorial engines, content systems, and the lifecycle logic around them. I design the system and coach the team who runs it, so it keeps working long after I've stepped back.

Fractional leadership

A senior marketing brain in your corner, without the full-time salary, equity, and six-month search. I lead, your team grows, everyone wins.

The way I work

Real growth takes seasons.

So I stay for them - not for a project, but for the seasons that make things grow.

(04) - Working together

A partnership, not a project.

The best results in my portfolio came from partnerships, not one-off projects. Three weeks of groundwork to get the foundations right, then 3–6+ months of building together.

the first three weeks

The Groundwork

Every partnership begins here. Three focused weeks where I dig through your customer conversations, your market, and the wins nobody wrote down, then hand back positioning that sounds like you, a message map your team can use, and a plan for the next two quarters.

It's how we both find out if this is a fit, and you keep everything either way.

You leave withCustomer & market listening · Positioning + message map · Growth plan · Working session together

Start with The Groundwork
the partnership - 3–6+ months

Fractional Partnership

I step in as your senior marketing lead: brand, growth, content, launches, and the roadmap that connects it all to revenue. Strategy and hands, embedded with your team, measured against numbers we agree on together.

A quarter for positioning to take root, another for systems to prove themselves, and results that compound from there. The $18M pipeline below took a partnership, not a project.

I take on a small number of partners at a time, so the work stays senior and hands-on.

(06) - The perspective

Hi, I'm Andrea.

American, living in Lisbon, working across both time zones like it's a personality trait. I've built growth for venture-backed startups and global agencies on both sides of the Atlantic, which taught me something useful: the US and Europe don't buy the same way, and knowing how to translate between them is a rare skill.

I'm endlessly curious about how people decide, the kind of person who reads neuroscience papers for fun, and it shows up in the work: less trend-chasing, more attention to how buying actually happens. Emotion first, logic after.

And I'm particular about where that curiosity goes. The work I care about most is with mission-driven companies - teams whose growth actually makes something better, not just bigger.

Clarity is a practice.

(07) - Common questions

Before we talk.

What does "fractional" actually mean?

You get a senior marketing leader for a fraction of their time, without the full-time salary, equity, and hiring search. The strategy and the execution, minus the overhead. And when you're ready for a full-time hire, they inherit working systems instead of a blank page.

Who do you work with?

Startups and mid-size businesses that have something real and want to grow it well: founder-led brands, funding-stage teams without a senior marketer, companies entering the US market, and - closest to my heart - mission-driven companies with something genuinely worth growing. If your marketing feels scattered while your product quietly outperforms it, we'll get along.

Why do partnerships run 3–6+ months?

Because that's how long real growth takes. Positioning needs a quarter to take root, systems need another to prove themselves, and the results worth having compound after that. Shorter engagements produce decks; partnerships produce pipelines. The Groundwork exists so we can both commit with confidence.

What does it cost?

Every engagement is scoped to what you actually need, so pricing comes once we've talked it through properly. What I can promise up front: fixed scope, clear deliverables, no surprises. And if I don't believe I can move the needle for you, I'll tell you.

Where are you based?

Based in Lisbon, Portugal, and working with clients worldwide. Being five hours ahead of the US East Coast means I can get a few focused hours of work done before their day really begins. And as an American in Europe, I spend half my life translating between the two markets anyway. It turns out that’s a job.
